The Hermle Amelia Mechanical Mantel Clock in Cherry combines timeless American craftsmanship with traditional German clockmaking. Featuring a beautifully crafted solid wood case, a rich cherry finish, and a classic tambour-style silhouette, this elegant mechanical mantel clock brings warmth, sophistication, and traditional charm to any living room, fireplace mantel, office, or study.

At the heart of the Hermle Amelia is a precision-engineered German 8-day key-wound mechanical movement, designed to run for approximately one week between windings. Its traditional Westminster chime adds a distinctive musical character to your home, while the convenient chime shut-off lever allows you to silence the clock whenever desired.

Assembled in the USA with a German-made movement and accessories, the Hermle Amelia Westminster Chiming Mantel Clock reflects the craftsmanship and heritage that have made Hermle a respected name in clockmaking since 1922.

Whether you're looking for a traditional chiming mantel clock, a meaningful anniversary or retirement gift, or a decorative timepiece to complement your home, the Hermle Amelia offers a beautiful combination of classic design and mechanical engineering.

Traditional German 8-Day Mechanical Movement

Unlike battery-powered quartz clocks, the Hermle Amelia Mechanical Mantel Clock features an authentic key-wound movement that operates through a traditional spring-powered mechanism.

The 8-day movement requires winding approximately once per week, offering the hands-on experience that mechanical clock enthusiasts appreciate.

Its German-engineered movement combines traditional clockmaking principles with the distinctive character of a mechanical Westminster chiming clock.

Classic Westminster Chimes with Manual Silencing

One of the Amelia's most appealing features is its traditional Westminster chime, a familiar melody associated with classic chiming clocks.

The sound adds warmth and character to living spaces, making the clock more than a decorative accessory.

For added convenience, the clock includes a manual chime shut-off lever, allowing you to enjoy a quieter environment whenever desired.

Elegant Cherry Wood Tambour Design

The Hermle Amelia features a classic tambour, or camelback, silhouette that has remained popular in traditional mantel clock design for generations.

Its rich Light Cherry finish, decorative burl veneer panels, and detailed molding create a sophisticated appearance that complements antique furniture, traditional interiors, and classic home décor.

The clock's substantial 19-inch width makes it an attractive centerpiece for a fireplace mantel, console table, or executive office.
